In the mystical realms of the Astral Sea, Daedra are supernatural entities of immense power and malevolence. These immortal beings traverse the dimensions, raiding other realms for their precious mana, leaving a trail of devastation in their wake. While they cannot meet their demise in any foreign plane, they are impervious to death only within the boundaries of their own origin.
In the hierarchy of malevolent powers, the Daedra stand among the most formidable, and their dark influence is amplified by their leader, the mad mage Sevenson. Driven by an insatiable thirst for dominion, Sevenson has succeeded in binding these supernatural entities to his twisted will. To further solidify his control, Sevenson has erected a gargantuan dungeon, a macabre citadel that serves as both a prison for the Daedra and a dark sanctuary from which their nefarious exploits are orchestrated.
Daedra possess a voracious appetite for magic, actively seeking out powerful artifacts and relentlessly hunting down mages of great skill. Their insatiable desire for magical energies has become synonymous with cataclysm and desolation throughout history.
Though not invincible, the Daedra faced a rare setback in their encounters with psionics from the umbral sea. While not a complete defeat, this confrontation proved to be a valuable learning experience for the Daedra. Rather than succumb to failure, they adapted and assimilated some psionic abilities into their repertoire.
The arrival of a Daedra in any world is a dire premonition of cataclysmic events and widespread desolation. Entire civilizations have crumbled beneath their onslaught.
Code of conduct for Daedra
- You have to always assume Daedra is hostile toward you, so you can try to engage in conversation with them but always stay on your guard.
- Daedra is always stronger than you, to take down one assume you need at least 2 to 3 allies to support you.
- If a Daedra is slain, its body will not remain behind on this material plane, it is automatically banished to its own plane of existence. Rarely in big encounters, Daedra will or may let one piece of Daedric steal, those are chosen by dm and always in low number.
- To face a Daedra it is implied that your mana or life force will be drained heavily, even healing wounds of those hurt by them take more energy than predicted.
