Overview
The Relic Hunters Guild focuses on "scouting areas of importance, researching knowledge about whereabouts, dungeoneering, and recovering artifacts and magical relics with plans for experimentation."
Core Functions
The guild recovers magical artifacts and evaluates their threat level. Powerful items are referred to the Tower of Purgation, while moderate-risk relics are stored in a secure Vault. Lower-threat items may be gifted or traded to strengthen alliances.
Membership Structure
Members advance through ranks by participating in missions, collecting artifacts, and scouting. The system includes two branches: - Combat Branch: Relic Hunter positions from Squire to Head - Research Branch: Scribe positions from Initiate to Head Scribe
Historical Context
The guild was established by Sir Cullingham in another realm and continues under leadership in the Everwilds. The organization operates as "protectors and keepers of Relics and Magical Artifacts to keep the realm safe from outside threats, inside threats and cataclysmic events."
Safety Requirements
Members must document where and how artifacts are obtained to prevent fraud and ensure proper oversight of recovered items.
