Miraculo Academy

An academy situated on a demiplane chosen for its uniquely thin iner-dimensional membrane. Though a place of magical research and innovation for a time, the demiplane was eventually swallowed by a magical cataclysm, killing most of its inhabitats and leaving behind a frozen wasteland.

Survivors of the catastrophe, the "Miraculo Remnants", are few and far between. However, recent punctures in The Emptiness have slowly been leading them all back for a reunion on Aether Island.

Notable Characters

• Morgan De'Terro: A powerfully curious scholar, convinced magic is broken and They need to be stopped. Their attempt to fix magic led to the catastrophe.
• Mihiro: A natural denizen of the elemental plane of rot. A druid tasked with preventing the heresey against nature the mages at Miraculo Academy stood for- though shw was a student by day. Missing on the day of the catastrophe.
• Kiều: An enigmantic student who arrived and enrolled of her own volition, spending plenty of extracurricular time learning about other faculty members. The fact that she's an ancient entity from beyond the coin disguised as a young woman probably doesn't mean she's one of Them, right? Evacuated to who-knows-where on the day of the catastrophe.
• Elika: A creepy witch who crafted and enchanted animated golems and dolls. Escaped by trapping a body in a doll of her own creation. Has a peculiar fascination with Morgan.
• Red: A homunculus of sorts created by Morgan with no obvious purpose. They share Morgan's memories up until before the foundation of the academy... And their memories continued once they arrived at Aether Island, with everything between mysteriously missing.
• Oleander: A faculty member teaching alchemy. Gruff and anti-social, but was committed to trying to prevent- or at least mitigate- the catastrophe. Never seen since.
• Haruhi: A carefree and cheerful "student" who never actually really studied. She was mainly a socialite and gossip, more interested in pulling pranks on the faculty than getting her life in order. Presumed dead after the catastrophe and has not been seen since.
