The Celestial Elves inhabit Lumaria, an island featuring the Moon's Tears forest. This race dwells within massive trees, existing in near-total darkness illuminated only by moonlight. They established a separate kingdom on a nearby island containing a castle and trading hub for external interactions.

Environment and Resources

The Moon's Tears trees absorb lunar energy and generate mana pools that elves harvest. The wood possesses magical qualities useful as arcane focuses for spellcasters. The bark transitions "from dark purple, fading to bright blue or pale white depending on the age of the wood," while "the leaves glow bright blue."

Despite their name, these elves are not divine or extraterrestrial beings—they are moon-worshipping elves with lifespans "of 1700 years or more."

Gender Roles

Upon showing magical aptitude, elves craft personalized magical staffs from Moon's Tears wood—a process requiring years to complete. The legendary Celestial Cutter blade allegedly reveals to its wielder "a world of their wishing and would grant the user the power to complete that goal."
